Ingredients:

  •  30 g Makhana
  •  10 g Cashews
  •  45 Saffron strands
  •  23 drops Vanilla Essence
  •  45 Figs (soaked)
  •  Chia seed – for garnish
  •  Rose petals – for garnish
  •  300 ml Water
  •  200 g Fresh fruits 1 Bowl

Method:

  • Wash makhana, cashew and figs in fresh water.
  • Soak makhana, cashew, figs, and saffron in 300 ml water for at least 1 hours.
  • Add all the ingredients in a blender & blend until a thick milk is formed.
  • Store it in a refrigerator to cool down .
  • Serve with fresh fruits & garnish it with dried berries & raisins.

1. If any of the ingredient is mentioned in the recipe is non- suiting to you, can skip or ask for the substitute.

2. Adjust the amount of water for desired custard thickness.

3. Using jaggery instead of sugar will darken the custard; stick to sugar for the traditional light colour if figs are not enough.
